Unmolested
At roughly six o'clock in the evening yesterday, I inadvertently left a Kellogg's® Pop-Tart® out on the wrought iron end table on the screened-in patio. I discovered this same Pop-Tart® at about four thirty this morning, and, knowing full well that the screening/weatherstripping is imperfect about the door area, I used extreme caution in picking it up in it's flimsy foil jacketing (nothing like that thick heavy paper-foil composite stuff they used to wrap them up in when I was a kid).
Lo and behold - not a single ant. Not a gnat, not a fly. Not so much as a mote. I think this says something about the categorization of such a thing as a "food."
I ate it anyway.
