Search Page
I am so proud of me! I've finally learned enough about perl and cgi
scripting and such to feel confident about installing and configuring a
script on my own. I've been wanting a search function for this site for a
long, long time, and since there was a great deal of free time in my day
today, I went to Matt's Script Archive and got Simple Search.
At first I set it up to search my entire site, but between the immense
size of my site, the modesty of the server, and the, uhm, interestingness of
perl, it took a looooooong time for the search to run. So I made copies of
the script for each of the major journals, and I tied them into one
centralized search page.
Heh, I know I am disproportionately thrilled. This is a simple thing.
It is for my geek friends to laugh. I am such a wannabe. I am not even in the larval stage, but I don't care. Slowly, slowly,
I am getting there.
