Pain Pain Pain
I posterized my little gargoyle, so now maybe he looks better opposite my highly posterized face.  Somebody asked me why I did that to my face, hiding all my lovely features.  Heh, as if he'd even ever seen my lovely features.  Trust me, my face looks a lot better posterized, greyscaled, and edge defined than it does without the fx.  Other people wear makeup; I wear Paint Shop Pro.
As if my chest cold weren't enough to contend with, yesterday I got one of the sneaky migraines.  It came upon me as I woke yesterday morning, so I missed any visual indicators there might have been, unless in my dreams.  So of course I thought it was just your ordinary tension headache and tried to medicate it with Tylenol.
The pain pain pain got worse worse worse as the day progressed.  By four in the afternoon I was tightly wound into a ball with my head in the sofa cushions wearing one of those doofus-looking sleeping masks, drifting in and out of sleep, because the body demands sleep when one of those hits me, though I have kids to look after.  Once the hubby got home, he put a sheet over my head to help block the light, and eventually he asked me if I wanted to go upstairs and sleep it off.  I did.  I came to about 9 in the evening, the pain finally gone.  And the whole day blown.  That's when the uncontrollable coughing started. And didn't let up until morning.
Heh, ever have one of those days?  "If it's not one thing, it's another."  Course, everything is like that, it's just a case of what the one thing and the other are.
Today was more productive.  I picked up some medication I was supposed to have gotten yesterday, and I finished up the plans for the trip next week.  It's another conference, actually a trade show, up in New York, and I have the opportunity to pitch my business.  Some people might think it odd I am pitching to the International Council of Shopping Centers, but think about it, where else should I promote it?  At a computer or technology show?  With thousands of competitors in the same field?  Hmmm?
So I went and got the train tickets today.  Got my antibitoics.  I am on some new kind that you only take for five days, and you take twice as much on the first day as you do for any of the others.  I had also mentioned to the doctor Sunday that when I use antibiotics I get a yeast infection, so she prescribed me something for that as well.  Yeah, I know you can get that stuff over the counter these days, but this is the Army, so if you want it provided, Tylenol, cough syrup, whatever, you get it prescribed.
Sun's going down, and I got laundry to fold yet.  Heh.
